But allow me to add on to my introduction...
For starters, my name is Patricia Daquigan but most people know me as Trish(a). I don't really look my age even though I am 22 years old. I've known Blake for quite a long time now. He's been a really good friend of mine since our teenage years and even though we are currently living our separate lives when time permits, we always put on those quality talks. Love you, pup!
Anyhoots, I hate on certain things and people but who doesn't? I'm really not that bad once you get to know me… Wait, let’s rephrase that... I’m really not that bad if you know how to handle me. That’s more like it! I love eating and sleeping. So, you can probably guess how I spend most of my time. To sum it all up, I'm a fat person stuck in a skinny girl's body!
So as for today's post what I would like to share is a fun and EASY recipe. I stress the word easy here because 1. I am NOT a gourmet chef, I'm more of the ready to eat types if you haven't caught on yet and 2. I know most of us after a hard day at work the only word to think of is "take out." But on those nights when we're feeling a little more industrious than the usual, you should try this Fettuccine Alfredo recipe.
10 ounces of fettuccine noodles.
6 tablespoons (3/4) stick unsalted butter.
1 cup heavy cream.
1 3/4 cups grated Parmesan cheese.
Sprinkling ground of nutmeg (if you prefer)
2 tablespoons finely chopped chives
Pepper to taste
Cook the pasta noodles and drain. Melt the butter in a large saute pan over low heat and add the noodles. Set aside. Add the heavy cream and stir to 1 to 2 minutes. Add the Parmesan, nutmeg, and half the chives and continue to stirring until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle the rest of chives on top and serve.... EASY as 1... 2... 3! And if you have any chicken breast leftovers you can throw that on if you like!
