Mike Hammond loves his dad so much that he actually posted a job listing for someone to accompany his father from the nursing home he stays in to his favorite local pub. After weeding through the frat boy's and highschool girls he hired 2 people for the position, 1 retired doc and a former military man. The job pay's 7 pounds ($14) an hour.
“Dad’s now going to be going down to the pub several times a week — three with his new friends and twice with me,” Mike Hammond told The Times on Thursday. “I want to give him some of his old life back.”
I guess his "old life" was being a drunk 5 days out of the week. Way to go MIKE!
